At Globalink Logistics, the ESG mission goes beyond compliance - it’s about meaningful impact. Across Central Asia and the Caucasus, the teams have been tasked with sourcing locally from small businesses, especially women- and community-led enterprises. From uniforms and packaging to marketing materials, the company has shifted away from large global suppliers and instead invested in the talent and capability found within the regions in which it operates.
This journey was not without its challenges - ensuring design, quality, and sustainability required close collaboration. Yet the results surpassed expectations. Many local businesses not only met the Globalink’s standards but exceeded them. Today, over 85% of non-core materials are proudly sourced locally.
More importantly, several of these small businesses have grown - now supplying to other companies in the region.
