The 'Patron Member' category at AmCham is reserved for members that are particularly engaged in AmCham's activities and that are committed to helping AmCham serve its goals of advancing the Georgian business community and US-Georgia relations.

BENEFITS/RIGHTS

  • 1/ Patron Members will have their logo presented on a 'Patron Member' banner at most full member events, on AmCham's website and in AmCham's main publications.
  • 2/ Patron members will have the right to have three listed individuals on the email list (instead of the usual two).
  • 3/ For luncheons, Patron members will be able to have one attendee assigned to named seating at one of the head tables.

Either Corporate A or Corporate B companies can apply and companies accepted as Patron Members will have to pay 9900 GEL membership and commit to sponsor an additional 10,000 GEL per year.

APPLICATION/CRITERIA

Accepting a company as a Patron Member will be at the full discretion of the AmCham board. Applicants should provide a written explanation of why they want to be Patron Members and why they feel that they are suited to this membership. When considering the application, the board will take into account:

  • a/ The level of engagement and support that the company has made to AmCham over the years.
  • b/ The length of existing membership. While at the discretion of the board, it is assumed that most applicants will have been members for several years.
  • c/ The size, seniority and seriousness of the company applying. It is assumed that Patron members will be significant and well regarded members of the Georgian business community.
